The Mind Extreme functions like The Mind, with players trying to play cards from their hand in ascending order — without consulting one another! — so that they can complete a certain number of levels and win. The higher the level, the more cards you have in hand, giving you more to juggle, but also more information to use during play.

How to play The Mind Extreme?

Players are dealt one card for each level they are on (level 1, one card each, level 4, four cards each). These cards have the numbers 1 to 50 in either red or blue. The group’s task is to place these dealt cards in the correct pile (red or blue) in the correct number order (with red descending in number, and blue ascending in number). You’re not allowed to communicate in any way… and what’s that hand print on the centre level card? That hand print means everyone has to play their cards face down! To help you throughout, players can also use a throwing star. To do this you vote by raising your hand, and if the vote is unanimous, then players discard the lowest blue card or highest red card in their hand. Otherwise play continues until you reach level 12 or you lose all the lives!
