Inis is a beautiful and subtle wargame set in the ancient Celtic past. Beautiful stylised art delivers a rule set that prioritises leadership and holding territories - not through force, but through clever play and cooperation. This is not to say 'we're all friends', however... Through drafted action cards, bluffing, and a keen understanding of who is going to move and when, this game is about subtle strikes with occasional not-so-subtle help from the Irish Gods and heroes such as Cuchulainn, the Dagda, and Lugh.
