Heat: Heavy Rain

Heat: Heavy Rain is the first expansion for Heat: Pedal to the Metal, adding new challenges and content to the high-speed racing game. It introduces two new tracks—Japan and Mexico—each with unique features like tight chicanes and flooded sections that require extra heat to downshift. The expansion also adds a seventh player option with an orange car and includes new upgrade cards, such as the purple drop cooldown, allowing players to retrieve heat cards from their discard pile back into their engine. Additional components include more heat, stress, championship, sponsorship, and event cards, enhancing the game’s depth and replayability. 

To play, you’ll need the base game Heat: Pedal to the Metal. Set up the new tracks and incorporate the additional components as desired. The gameplay remains focused on managing your car’s speed and heat, but the new elements introduce fresh strategic considerations. Navigating the new tracks’ hazards and utilizing the new upgrade options will test your racing skills in exciting ways.
